Bonny Babs has loved burlesque for quite some time. She has a great appreciation for the performers of yesteryear, and finds much inspiration and kinship with neo-burlesque performers strutting their stuff all over the world today. Though starting small in her hometown of Chicago, she hopes to become a memorable staple of the burlesque community – rapidly impressing audiences, and always striving for bigger and better routines!

The ‘excuse’ to make fabulous costumes, and to design elaborate, wowing routines are what drives Babs’s pursuit of burlesque. She loves pushing the envelope! She takes elements of classic burlesque, modern dance, and acting and mix them with classic and contemporary music to create ridiculous, over the top stories through inventive costuming and larger than average performances. She dreams big, and doesn’t like to be tied down to the old-fashion ideas about what burlesque should and shouldn’t be.
